SUMMARY:2nd European Taiko Conference - 9 au 12 Février
DESCRIPTION:ETC2 will take place 9th – 12th February 2017\, featuring workshops led Eiichi Saito with Eri Uchida\, from Kodo\, Tiffany Tamaribuchi\, Karen Young\, Mark H Rooney and Shoji Kameda\, as well as much\, much more. \nThe Conference is all about “developing the community who are developing the art form”.  The format will be similar to this year’s European Taiko Conference:  workshops with international taiko players\, performances\, presentations\, discussions\, and socialising over shared meals.  It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn about taiko generally\, European taiko specifically\, and to meet new taiko friends\, and old. Places are limited so please note the conference is primarily aimed at leaders and leading players in European Taiko Groups. Not sure if it’s for you\, please get in touch info@kagemusha.com. \nEnglish is the principal language of the Conference\, but we will make every effort to facilitate understanding and active participation of those for whom English is not the first language. \nHannahs at Seale Hayne is a beautiful campus setting\, where our Taiko Centre is located.  All Conference events happen on campus\, where there is also accommodation available.  Click here for more information about the campus\, and for information about how to get here.  The Conference starts at 6pm on Thursday evening\, and finishes at 1pm on Sunday.  Please be sure that you can make travel arrangements that will enable you to attend the whole event. \n
